Information we collect
The publisher collects names, e-mail addresses, institutional affiliations and ORCID identifiers from authors, reviewers, editors and other users when they register or submit.
How information is used
Personal data are used only for the stated purposes of the journal: manuscript submission and review, editorial communication, and publication. They are not passed to third parties without consent, except as set out below.
Data sharing
Personal data are never sold, rented or traded. Limited sharing takes place with:
- peer reviewers, within the limits of double-blind review;
- iThenticate, for plagiarism screening;
- Crossref and the PKP Preservation Network, for DOI registration, indexing and archiving of published articles;
- legal or regulatory authorities, where the law requires it.
Personal information in manuscripts
Manuscripts must not contain information that could identify a study participant unless that person has given written consent to its publication. Authors are responsible for removing or anonymising such details before they submit.
Data retention
Information is kept for as long as it is needed for these purposes and to meet archival obligations.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data by contacting the editorial office. Requests are met subject to legal requirements and to the need to keep the record of published content intact.

The site uses cookies only for essential functions, such as keeping you logged in. There is no advertising or third-party tracking.
